How to Prepare a Lender-Ready Business Loan Package

A complete, organized package helps an advisor and potential lender understand the request faster.

Start with a clear financing summary

State the amount, purpose, desired timing, repayment source and the specific outcome the capital should support.

Prepare current financial information

Common requests include recent business tax returns, year-to-date profit and loss, balance sheet, bank statements, accounts-receivable aging and a business debt schedule.

Explain the story behind the numbers

Describe unusual changes, one-time expenses, seasonality, customer concentrations and how the proposed financing affects future cash flow.

Review before submission

Make sure entity names, ownership, dates and financial totals are consistent. Missing or conflicting information can delay review.

Discuss a financing need

A PFCS Business Finance Advisor can review your objectives and possible financing paths.
